Hi, I'm Patricia Fuller — a dedicated educator with a deep love for language, storytelling, and helping young minds discover the power of words.
I bring 21 years of classroom teaching experience to everything I do. Over more than two decades, I've had the privilege of guiding hundreds of students through the world of English Language Arts — building reading comprehension, nurturing a love of literature, and helping kids find their own voice as writers.
In addition to my classroom work, I've spent the last five years teaching and tutoring online — bringing that same warmth and personal connection to a digital environment. I've learned how to engage students through a screen just as effectively as in person, using creative tools and responsive strategies to meet every learner where they are.
My sweet spot is upper elementary and middle school — that exciting, sometimes challenging stage where students are developing their identities and their relationship with language is taking shape. I believe this is one of the most important windows of learning, and I'm passionate about making ELA feel relevant, engaging, and even fun.
My approach is always warm, encouraging, and student-centered. I get to know my students as individuals, build trust, and create a space where they feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and grow

Mr. Hill began his teaching career in 2002. He has taught primarily English and literature, but has also led math, science, art, health, theology, and PE classes. In addition, Mr. Hill has coached track, football, cross courntry, and baseball.
Mr. Hill has taught students as young as 5th grade and as advanced as honors senior English. He is eager to use his experience to help middle and high school students improve their writing and literature analysis skills, via The Groovy Tutor!

Ashley holds an undergraduate degree in science and is pursuing a degree in Data Analytics. She has over 7 years of experience tutoring college-level Inorganic Chemistry and mathematics through Calculus I for multiple colleges across the US, as well as over 3 years of standardized test prep experience for the SAT, ACT, SHSAT, MCAS, and Regents exams. Ashley is passionate about education and enjoys working with students of all ages and backgrounds. As a certified yoga and meditation instructor, she understands the importance that physical and emotional health play in the learning process and meets students where they are to establish a strong foundation, build confidence, and foster independent learning. Ashley is fascinated by the beauty and intricacies of the natural world and spends her free time gardening, exploring the outdoors, creating art, and playing with her cats.

Ms. Soliz has a B.A. in English and a M.S. in Secondary Education. She has taught English 9-12 in Texas public school and has tutored K-college level in English. In addtion, she is certifited in English 8-12 and Special Eduction K-12 in the state of Texas.

Ms. Washington has taught at public and charter schools for thirty years. She holds a Master’s Degree from Old Dominion University and is a Texas Public School Certified Educator.
She enjoys spending time with her family, listening to gospel music, listening to audiobooks, and cooking new meals.
